High School: Walk-on to the Dirtbags… earned three varsity letters in baseball and two in basketball at Granite Hills High… two-time first team All-League selection in baseball, batted .396 with 39 runs, 18 steals and a .695 on-base percentage as a senior, after batting .436 with 22 steals, 49 runs and a .515 on-base percentage as a junior… also named second team All-Section as a senior and won the Grossmont District Home run Derby with 16 in 2005… in basketball earned the team’s Sixth Man distinction in 2003 for the Grossmont League Champions… also won the prestigious 2005 Dodge Ball Championship, earning Tournament MVP honors… played on San Diego’s International Team which toured Osaka, Japan in 2002 member of the student body.
