2009 SECOND-TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE

2009 (Junior): Picked in the 11th round of the MLB Draft, the 330th overall pick, by the Detroit Tigers ... Named second-team All-Conference ... Went 7-4 with a 2.78 ERA ... His ERA was the third lowest in the Big West ... Led the team in innings (94) and strikeouts (56) ... Scored two runs as a pinch-runner.

2008 (Sophomore): A key left-handed arm out of the bullpen ... made 15 appearances on the year, recording a 1.26 ERA ... allowed just two earned runs on the year ... struck out 15 while allowing just two walks ... made a season-long 3.1 inning appearance against Pepperdine, holding the Waves scoreless while striking out three (3/25) ... finished the season with nine consecutive scoreless outings ... struck out three in 1.2 innings against Pacific (4/26) ... finished the season with 1.1 innings of no-hit ball in the Regionals against Cal (5/31).

2007 (Freshman): Spot starter and long reliever appeared in 22 games with three starts going 3-0 with a 4.70 ERA over 30.2 innings... gave up 39 hits and struck out 22 and walked 12... got his first collegiate win at Arizona State on March 11 with 3.2 innings of four-hit, three-run baseball... combined with Manny McElroy on April 24 against San Diego State on a three-hitter, giving up a single hit over the final two innings.

High School: Three-year letterman at Cypress High School ... Went 23-3 with a 1.50 ERA with 235 strikeouts, while batting .410 with 15 steals... as a senior went 13-1 with a 1.17 ERA with 118 strikeouts, while batting .412, while in 2005, went 10-2 with a 1.62 ERA, batting .408... named the Empire League's MVP and first team all-state honors for the second-straight season... also a two-time all-league and all-county pick... named the 2005 Division-II Player of the Year... all-academic team.
