2019 HONORABLE MENTION ALL-CONFERENCE
2022 (Senior): Appeared in 35 games, making 21 starts … Slashed .216/.296/.455 in 88 at-bats … Launched six home runs and drove in 14 runs … Hit a walkoff home run in the conference opener against Hawai’i on Mar. 19 … Had a career-day at Cal Poly on Apr. 9 going 3-for-6 with a home run, two RBI, and three runs scored.
2021 (Junior): Appeared in 20 games, making 12 starts primarily behind the plate … Hit to a .212 average (11-for-52) with a .317 on-base percentage and a .365 slugging … Biggest game came April 23 against UCSB where he launched a game-tying two-run home run before the Dirtbags walked it off … Recorded a two-RBI game on May 22 against Cal State Fullerton.
2020: 2020 season shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic (granted extra season of eligibility) … Injured and did not compete.
2019 (Sophomore): Named honorable mention All-Conference… Appeared in 36 games with 29 starts … Made 21 starts behind the plate and eight at DH, and added one appearance at second base … Hit .300 on the year to finish second on the team, but was not a qualified hitter with just 90 at bats … Led the team with 22 walks for a solid .447 on-base percentage and was the only player on the team with more walks than strikeouts (21) on the year … Collected his first four RBI on Mar. 30 at Cal, during his first multi-hit game of the season … Had three consecutive multi-hit games from Apr. 14-23, starting with a three-hit game vs. CSUN … Hit his first career home run (a solo shot to lead off the game) on May 11 at UC Santa Barbara … Closed the season on a seven-game hitting streak, collecting at least one hit in 13 of his final 16 games.
2018 (Freshman): Made 56 appearances and started in 54 games as a freshman, making 49 of those starts behind the plate and five at third base … Led the team with 32 RBI, becoming the first Dirtbags freshman to drive in 30 or more runs since Troy Tulowitzki in 2003 … Also led the team with five sacrifice flies and tied for the team lead with 11 sacrifice bunts … Threw out 15 of the 28 attempted base-stealers he faced, for a 46.4 percent success rate for baserunners … During the CSUN series (Apr. 13-15), threw out a total of seven runners over the three-game series … In his debut in the season opener vs. Saint Mary’s (Feb. 16), went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI in a Dirtbags victory, the first of his eight multi-hit games … Had a season-best three RBIs against Tulane (Mar. 16) and UCSB (May 12).
High School: A four-year letterwinner for Etiwanda High School who started every game but one over his career, setting the school record for hits with 110 ... Led Etiwanda to a CIF-SS Division 2 championship as a senior in 2017... Hit an impressive .374 in his senior season, recording 43 hits, 40 RBI and seven home runs in just 30 games ... Ended the season on a 10-game hitting streak, going 19-for-41 (.463) with 13 runs, 19 RBI, four doubles and three home runs to lead Etiwanda to a championship ... In a 16-7 quarterfinal win over Laguna Beach, Jimenez was 3-for-6 with two home runs and seven RBI ... First Team All-Baseline League selection in 2015, 2016, and 2017... First Team Inland Empire All-Area selection by the Daily Bulletin in 2017, after earning an Honorable Mention nod as a junior ...First team San Bernardino All-Star selection in 2017.
