2018 (Redshirt): Utilized a redshirt season after injuring his shoulder Feb. 24 at TCU … Was able to DH for nine games before getting season-ending surgery … Had 50 at-bats on the season, collecting 10 hits including a home run Feb. 18 vs. Saint Mary’s … Went 6-for-13 at the plate (.462) in the first four games of the season prior to his injury.
2017 (Junior): Named honorable mention All-Conference ... Played in 56 games at shortstop, third base, and second base ... Made 50 starts, with 48 at SS and two at 3B ... Made his first two starts and first four appearances at third base before making the move to short, where he started the final 45 games of the season ... Recorded 14 multi-hit games on the season, resulting in a .294 average that was fourth-highest on the team ... Was second on the team with 11 HBPs and also added 26 RBI and a pair of home runs ... Had a strong series against Cal State Fullerton (Mar. 24-26), getting a hit in all three games with a pair of multi-hit efforts, three runs scored and an RBI ... Recorded a three-hit game vs. USC (Apr. 4), driving in a pair of runs and stealing his first base of the season ... In his next game, went 2-for-3 vs. UC Riverside (Apr. 7) including his first career home run ... Had a triple and a home run in the first game of the CSUN series (Apr. 13) ... Prior to Long Beach State: An All-Conference selection both seasons at Fullerton College ... hit .307 as a freshman, scoring 29 runs with 19 RBIs and nine stolen bases for the Hornets ... stepped up his numbers as a sophomore, hitting .333 with a .453 on-base percentage, scored 47 runs while driving in 33 and stealing 16 bags.
