2009: Started 49 games as a catcher and designated player ... Hit .250 with nine doubles, three home runs and 18 RBI ... Went 2-for-4 in the season opener against Georgia on Feb. 6 ... Connected for a two-run home run vs. Wisconsin (Feb. 7) ... A force at the plate at the Campbell/Cartier Classic in San Diego, going 3-for-6 with seven walks ...
