Outdoor: Earned honorable mention All-American honors in the decathlon with an 18th-place showing (7,374) ... Won the decathlon at the Big West Championships with the second highest score in school history, 7,409 points ... Won the four of the individual events during the Big West decathlon, and did not finish below fifth in any event ... Finished seventh in the high jump and seventh in the 110m hurdles a week later during the track and field portion of the Big West Championships ... Ran a career-best 14.92 in the 110m hurdles in the Big West finals ... Finished fifth in the decathlon (7,478) at the Mt. SAC Relays ... Won the high jump at Mt. SAC with a leap of 6-10 1/4 ... Outdoor: Finished among the top five in every event of the decathlon to take runner-up honors at the Big West Championships ... Compiled 7,224 points, which ranked second in school history at that time ... Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries in the high jump where he established a career-best 6-11.
Indoor: Scored in the heptathlon at the MPSF Championships, finishing seventh with 4,983 points... Won the high jump, clearing a season-high 6-9 1/2 ... Also registered indoor records in the 60m (7.21) and pole vault (12-5 1/2) at the conference meet.
Prior to LBSU: Competed for Cerritos College ... Earned All-State honors both years ... Also garnered CCCAA All-America recognition as a sophomore ... Was the 2009 CCCAA champion in the decathlon, while also placing ninth in the high jump ... Finished sixth in the high jump at the 2008 CCCAA championships.
