Norwin Gohm, Jaden Huggins lead Men’s Golf through the first day.

ALBUQUERQUE – Junior Norwin Gohm led Long Beach State on Friday, matching his career-best round with a six-under par 66 in the opening round as play was halted in the middle of the second due to rain.

Day One Results

Gohm carved up the Par 5s in the opening day, hitting two eagles in the opening round on the way to his 66 in the opening round of the day. He was +1 through 13 in the second round, holding in the Top 10 as play came to a close on Friday.

Jadn Huggins also closed the day under par, using an eagle on one to end the round with a 69, the 18th round in the 60s in his career. Freshman Enzo Persson closed the day at -1, using four birdies in the first round to shoot 71 and holding even through 13 in round two.

Emil Albers is even in the second round after having the first round's drop score, just in front of Krishnav Chopraa and Bruce MacDonald on the individual leaderboard.
