LONG BEACH, Calif. – No. 6 Men's Water Polo returns home to host No. 12 Pacific and No. 4 Fordham at the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center this weekend.

Long Beach State enters the weekend with a 9-2 overall mark, most recently collecting three ranked wins at the MPSF Invitational and earning a fifth-place finish.

SERIES HISTORY

Long Beach State is 53-44 all-time against the Pacific Tigers.
Pacific enters Friday on a four-game winning streak against the Beach.
The Beach hold a 1-2 all-time record against the Fordham Rams.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT

Pacific comes into Friday's contest ranked No. 12 with a 3-4 record.
The Tigers have a ranked win over No. 17 Harvard and narrowly fell 13-11 to top-ranked UCLA in the beginning of September.
Pacific is currently on a three-game losing streak.
Fordham enters the weekend with a perfect 9-0 record and has earned four wins over ranked teams this season.
The fourth-ranked Rams will face No. 1 UCLA on Friday night before taking on the Beach on Sunday afternoon.

RANKED VICTORIES

The Beach have collected five victories over top-20 teams during the 2026 campaign.
Long Beach State defeated No. 8 Pepperdine at the Triton Invitational and No. 9 UC San Diego at the MPSF Invitational.
Other top-20 victories include wins over No. 11 San Jose State, No. 14 UC Santa Barbara and No. 20 Saint Mary's.

BIG WEST LEADERS

Federico Gulisano leads the league in goals per game (3.3) and is second in both goals (36) and points per game (4.2).
Corbin Stanley is third in the Big West in goals (33), goals per game (3.0) and points per game (4.1).
Olivér Sudár is second in the conference in assists (24) and assists per game (2.2).
Marc Frigola ranks third in the league in assists per game (1.7).

LONG BEACH LEADERS

Sophomore Federico Gulisano leads the team with 36 goals and was named the most recent Big West Player of the Week after his 15 goals at the MPSF Invitational.
Olivér Sudár leads the team with 21 assists and has also netted 16 goals with a .727 shooting percentage.
Preseason All-Big West selection Corbin Stanley has added 33 goals.
Nine total players have 10 or more goals this season.
William Whitstone leads the Beach with 48 saves, while Sergi Ramon has collected 43 saves.

AWARDS

The Beach have collected two Big West Player of the Week awards.
Corbin Stanley earned the honor after scoring 21 goals at the Triton Invitational during the opening weekend.
Federico Gulisano collected the award scoring 15 goals at the MPSF Invitational.

LAST TIME OUT

Long Beach State earned a fifth-place finish at the MPSF Invitational last weekend.
The Beach cruised past No. 14 UC Santa Barbara 16-9 behind the return of Gabi Acosta, as the two-time defending Big West Player of the Year had five goals against the Gauchos.
Long Beach State battled tough against No. 3 Stanford but fell to the Cardinal.
The Beach bounced back with a convincing 17-11 win over No. 11 San Jose State.
LBSU closed out the weekend with a 17-16 overtime victory over No. 9 UC San Diego.
Acosta had the sudden victory game-winner against the Tritons, while Federico Gulisano tabbed seven goals in the game.
