Women’s Golf Gains Spot In Second Day Of Mason Rudolph Championship

Senior Alyson Sor shot an even par 71 to climb 26 places on the leaderboard.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Long Beach State continued to have strong play from Alyson Sor who led the Beach in the second of three days at the Mason Rudolph Championship from Tennessee.

Day Two Results

Sor, Friday's leader for the Beach, improved on that score on Saturday, using three birdies to end the second round with an even-par 71 and climb 26 places into a tie for 38th overall. Junior Kylie Phi shot 73 to make a move up the leaderboard as well while remaining Long Beach State's second placed golfer.

Erin Lee's 75 helped the senior rise into third place among the Beach contingent, while sophomore Chloe Park rounded out the scoring members on Saturday for the Beach.

Overall, Long Beach State passed Middle Tennessee State in the standings and ended the day in 14th place. Florida continues to lead the tournament in front of Mississippi State, Arizona State and the hosts, Vanderbilt.
