Women’s Golf Straight Into Next Competition At Mason Rudolph Championship

The Beach will play in a second tournament this week following the Leadership & Golf Invitational.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Women's Golf continues their busy week, going straight to Tennessee to take part in the Mason Rudolph Championship hosted by Vanderbilt over the weekend. 15 teams will be completing three rounds over three days beginning on Friday, September 18.
The Beach will use the same lineup that competed at the Leadership & Golf Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Chambers Bay Golf Course in Washington in their order of finish. Senior Erin Lee led Long Beach State with her second consecutive Top 20 finish earlier this week, and junior Kylie Phi had the low round of the tournament, a three-under 69 that was the low score from the team early in the season.
Seniors Alyson Sor and Emma Kang will play third and fourth, while sophomore Chloe Park will compete in her second tournament of the season to round out the lineup.
Long Beach State will face a number of new teams as the college furthest West in a field that features Arizona State, Clemson, College of Charleston, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, Louisville, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Northwestern, Purdue, Western Kentucky and the hosts, Vanderbilt.
