Long Beach State will take on a challenging non-conference slate ahead of Big West play in 2026
LONG BEACH, Calif. -- A balanced schedule featuring 11 home matches, challenging road tests, and another competitive Big West campaign awaits Long Beach State Women's Soccer in 2026 as the Beach announced their complete schedule.
This season also ushers in a new era for The Big West as Sacramento State, Utah Valley and California Baptist join the league. The additions bring three new conference opponents to the schedule and add another layer of competition as the Beach begin Big West play in October.
Long Beach State opens the year with a Black and Gold Scrimmage on Wednesday, Aug. 5, before officially beginning the regular season one week later by hosting Saint Mary's on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The Beach remain at George Allen Field for a pair of home contests against Colgate on Aug. 16 and Weber State on Aug. 29, while also traveling to Fresno State on Aug. 20 and New Mexico State on Aug. 23 to round out the opening month of the season.
September begins with another home matchup against Portland on Sept. 3 before Long Beach State heads to Grand Canyon on Sept. 6. The Beach closes non-conference play with home games against Utah on Sept. 12 and CSUN on Sept. 30, along with road contests at Nevada on Sept. 17, UC Santa Barbara on Sept. 23, and Cal Poly on Sept. 26.
Big West action gets underway in October with Long Beach State hosting Sacramento State on Oct. 3. The Beach also welcomes California Baptist on Oct. 10, Cal State Fullerton on Oct. 14, UC Riverside on Oct. 24, and CSU Bakersfield on Oct. 31 during conference play.
Road conference matches include trips to UC Irvine on Oct. 17, UC San Diego on Oct. 21, and Utah Valley on Oct. 28 before Long Beach State closes the regular season at George Allen Field against CSU Bakersfield on Halloween.
The top teams in the Big West standings will advance to the Big West Championship, with tournament information to be announced later.
