Zeman Climbs The Leaderboard On Day Two At NCAA Championship

The graduate moved into the top half of the elite field with a second-round 70.
CARLSBAD, Calif. – Steen Zeman picked up five birdies on the way to a two-under par 70 in the second round at the NCAA Championship. Playing as an individual, Zeman climbed 35 places on the leaderboard to move into a tie for 65th overall in the field of 156.
Day Two Results
Zeman jumped out to a quick start with a birdie on his first hole, and had three birdies through his first nine, moving to two-under where he would finish the day with a 70. Zeman was one of the big movers of the day, and closed the day at +2 for the tournament.
Cut day is next in stroke play at the NCAA Championship. Following the conclusion of the third round, the top nine individuals from a non-advancing team will move on to play the fourth and final round of stroke play, with the individual national champion crowned after Monday's final round. Match play between the top teams will continue over the next few days.
