The graduate student qualified for the NCAA finals after a Top 5 finish at the NCAA Columbus Regional.
CARLSBAD, Calif. – Steen Zeman completed his opening round Friday at the NCAA Championship, the first Men's Golfer to be competing in the finals since 2012.
Day One Results
Zeman had a solid start to the day, recording a birdie on six and finishing the front nine at even par, but two bogeys to finish the day contributed to a +4 finish at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa after the first round for the Big West Individual Medalist.
The graduate student concludes the opening day of competition in a tie for 100th among the 156 competing golfers.
