Three In Top Ten For Men’s Golf In ASU Thunderbird Collegiate

No. 28 Long Beach State finished in third place in the tournament.
PHOENIX, Ariz. – Senior Alejandro de Castro Piera had his fifth Top 3 finish of the season, leading three in the Top 10 for Long Beach State at the ASU Thunderbird Collegiate.
Final Results
de Castro finished with his second runner-up finish of the season, tying for second place overall after a bogey-free 68 at the Par 71 Papago Golf Course. Graduate Steen Zeman also finished with a third straight round under par, a one-under 70 to tie for sixth place at -8.
Junior Krishnav Chopraa was the third player from No. 28 Long Beach State in the top ten, tying for ninth with a tournament score of -9. Senior Jaden Huggins also finished under par for the tournament, in the Top 20 at -3 as did individual Norwin Gohm, one stroke behind Huggins in a tie for 19th.
Long Beach State will take a small break and prepare for the Big West Championship, which will once again return to La Quinta Country Club. The tournament will be held over three days beginning on May 3.
