Women’s Golf Off To Bruin Wave Invitational

Long Beach State is back in action Monday at Valencia Country Club.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Women's Golf will have a quick turnaround, heading right back into competition at the Bruin Wave Invitational, co-hosted by Pepperdine and UCLA at Valencia Country Club February 23-24.
Facing a 15-team field, Long Beach State will join the co-hosts along with a number of Big West programs in Cal State Bakersfield Cal State Fullerton, CSUN and UC Irvine. Other teams participating include New Mexico State, California Baptist, Yale, Stanford, Oregon State and Fresno State along with Nihon University from Japan.
Long Beach State is coming off of their home tournament, the Alice and John Wallace Classic where the Beach took sixth place overall.
Junior Alyson Sor had her best finish of the season for the Beach in that tournament in a tie for 14th overall, and will lead the lineup as the Beach will play in order of their finish from last weekend. Emma Kang will play second, with the lowest stroke average of the season so far for Long Beach State.
Senior Madison Le will play third for the Beach, while freshman Kailey Yoon will play fourth. Junior Erin Lee rounds out the lineup for Long Beach State.
