Long Beach State took for 6th behind top finishes from Alyson Sor and Emma Kang.

PALM DESERT, Calif. – After three days at Monterey Country Club, Long Beach State's home tournament the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic finished and the Beach wraps up the tournament tied for 6th place overall.

Final Results

Junior Alyson Sor had the low score of the day for Long Beach State, and the transfer finished in a tie for 14th overall with a 73 to record her best finish at a tournament for the Beach. Sor had two birdies in the final three holes for a strong finish. Emma Kang tied for 18th, taking advantage of an eagle on 12 to card a 75 on the final day.

Senior Madison Le was third on the day for Long Beach State, closing the tournament in a tie for 38th overall. Freshman Kailey Yoon finished in a tie for 48th, and Erin Lee tied for 65th.

Long Beach State will have a quick turnaround, taking part in the Bruin Wave Invitational co-hosted by UCLA and Pepperdine at Valencia Country Club beginning on Monday, February 23.
