Three Named WGCA All-American Scholars From Women’s Golf

Junior Madison Le was honored for the third straight year, joined by Erin Lee and Hannah Jugar.

LONG BEACH, Calif. –- Women's Golf had three student-athletes honored by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), as the trio were named WGCA All-American Scholars following a tremendous season for the team.
 
The WGCA All-American Scholar program recognizes student-athletes who maintain a high level of academic achievement in addition to consistent participation in collegiate golf. In order to be eligible for the award, student-athletes must meet participation minimums for the season as well as hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
 
Junior Madison Le was recognized for the third straight season, as the Public Relations major played in every tournament this season for the Beach. Sophomore Erin Lee was recognized for the first time, as the Honorable Mention All-Big West selection had a breakout season. Finally, Graduate Transfer Hannah Jugar maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA in her graduate program in Geographic Information Science.
