The Beach is back in the Goodwin, hosted by Stanford at the Stanford Golf Course.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Men's Golf will take part in a massive, 30-team tournament hosted over three days as the Beach returns to The Goodwin. The first round is scheduled to begin on March 27.

Long Beach State remains ranked in the Top 30 in the country, No. 28 in the latest rankings, and will try to continue their strong play from Stanford. Long Beach State were the team champions of the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate before finishing as the runners up to the hosts, Arizona at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate from Tucson, Ariz. in the team's last tournament.

As an individual, Charlie Forster remains ranked in the Top 50 and will again lead the lineup at The Goodwin. Forster was the individual medalist at the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate, shooting 13-under par at the tournament and then finished in the Top 15 last time out from Arizona.

Also currently ranked as an individual, junior Alejandro de Castro Piera had his fourth Top 10 finish of the year at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate, putting two rounds up under par on the way to an even par 216 and an 8th place finish.

Fellow junior Jack Cantlay will play third, while sophomore Krishnav Chopraa will play fourth. Chopraa finished two-under par for the tournament at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational, and had a key scoring round in Long Beach State's second-place finish from Tucson one week ago. Finally, senior Steen Zeman will return to the lineup for Long Beach State. Zeman last competed as an individual for the Beach at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational, where he placed fifth overall with three rounds of 70 or better, closing the tournament at 7-under par. Senior Clay Seeber is playing in Sunshine Tour Q-School in Johannesburg, South Africa and will miss both The Goodwin and next week's Wyoming Cowboy Classic.

Contested over three days at the Stanford Golf Course, the field will feature 30 different teams playing one round each day. Live scoring for all three rounds will be found at https://scoreboard.clippd.com/tournaments/233303/scoring/participants.

Following The Goodwin, Long Beach State will take one day for travel and then jump right back into competition, participating in the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on March 31 and April 1.
