Long Beach State Softball Ranked No. 7 In Inaugural D1Softball.com Mid-Major Poll

The new poll sponsored by D1Softball ranks the top Division I Softball programs outside of the Power 4 conferences weekly.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – D1Softball.com announced Wednesday the creation of a Mid-Major Poll for Softball, ranking weekly the Top 25 programs outside of the Power 4 conferences. Long Beach State Softball was ranked No. 7 in their first poll, the highest of any program on the West Coast.

Long Beach State hosts the first of two tournaments this weekend after going unbeaten at the Stanford Invitational before pushing the defending national champions Oklahoma to 11 innings in the team's home opener on Sunday.
