
Women’s Soccer Adds Five Commits In November Window

Long Beach State is adding five high schoolers from California and Arizona.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Women's Soccer Head Coach Mauricio Ingrassia and the Beach staff have secured the commitment of five new players who will join the program in advance of the 2026 season. The class features five impact high schoolers from California and Arizona.
Sydney Beaumont | 5-6, Defense | Phoenix, Ariz.
Sydney Beaumont has been the defensive anchor of two-time 5A state champions Chaparral High School. Beaumont was selected as the Conference and Region Defensive Player of the Year as a senior, and was a two-time all-conference selection, scoring nine goals through her first three seasons. Beamont played club with Royals FC in the Arizona ECNL.

"Sydney is a composed and reliable centerback who reads the game exceptionally well. She is strong in the air, calm on the ball and is exceptional in build-up play."
Taylor Bellotti | 5-4, Defense/Midfield | San Francisco, Calif.
Taylor Bellotti is another defender, coming to the Beach from St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco where she was a WCAL Honorable Mention selection. Bellotti played club soccer with Mountain View Los Altos in the ECNL, where she has won two straight league championships.

"Taylor is a natural flank player who brings energy going forward and toughness defensively. She is strong in 1v1 tackles, loves to get into the attack, and creates chances every time she joins."
Hannah Hopkins | 5-2, Defense/Midfield | Sacramento, Calif.
A speedy defender from Sacramento, Hannah Hopkins is a two-sport athlete from Rio Americano High School, where she has been an all-league selection in both track and field and soccer. On the pitch, Hopkins led Rio Americano to a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division III championship and a trip to the Division III state championship, and placed second overall in the 4x100m relay in track and field in the same division. Hopkins played club with San Juan Soccer Club, and has represented the El Salvador Youth National Team at the U17 level in CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying.

Leila Magana | 5-5, Defense/Midfield | Chula Vista, Calif.
Leila Magana is a 5-5 defensive standout who comes to the Beach from Chula Vista, where she played high school soccer with Mater Dei High School. While at Mater Dei, she reached the CIF Division I championship game and was a Second Team All-Mesa League selection last season. Magana played club soccer with Rebels SC.

Olivia Yu | 5-2, Forward | Phoenix, Ariz.
Olivia Yu is an exciting attacking winger from Xavier College Prep in Phoenix. Routinely ranked among the top teams in the nation, Yu has starred with Xavier, winning three straight 6A Arizona state championships and earning All-Region honors in each of the last three seasons. Yu plays club soccer with the Utah Royals FC in the Arizona ECNL where she has won two straight ENCL Showcase 8 championships.

"Olivia is an extremely quick attacking player that brings nonstop energy and an attacking spark every time she steps on the field. She has the ability to create chances and finish them which makes her a constant threat in the attack."
