Men’s Golf Remains In Top Five After Two Rounds

Steen Zeman, Jaden Huggins both in the Top 20 with one round to play from Bayonet/Black Horse.
SEASIDE, Calif. – Long Beach State's Steen Zeman and Jaden Huggins finished the second day at the Saint Mary's Invitational in the Top 20 as the Beach maintained their position in the Top 5 following Tuesday's second round action.
Day Two Results
Alejandro de Castro Piera and Krishnav Chopraa each had bounceback days on Tuesday, as the duo shared the team lead in the second round, each finishing with an even par 72 on the day. The top spot on the overall leaderboard went to Steen Zeman, as the graduate tied for 14th overall at -1 after a second round 73, helped by an eagle on ten. Jaden Huggins also picked up an eagle on hole ten, sitting one stroke behind Zeman in the tournament after also shooting a 73 on Tuesday.
Steven Deutsch, playing as an individual, shot a 75 while Jack Cantlay ended the day with the team's drop score.
As a team, Long Beach State was deadlocked with Texas State, and are two strokes behind Pacific in fourth place while Santa Clara and the hosts Saint Mary's are tied for second. Arkansas State leads the tournament at 12-under par.
