Softball Contest Against Toledo Rescheduled For 10 a.m. March 6

The teams will kick off the Louisville Slugger Invitational in the morning to try and avoid rain forecast for later in the day.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Head Coach Kim Sowder and Long Beach State Athletics have announced that the softball game with Toledo on March 6 has been rescheduled to start at 10 a.m. that same morning to try and avoid forecasted rain in Long Beach.
The game against Toledo is the first of 10 scheduled to be played at the LBSU Softball Complex through the week as Long Beach State hosts their annual Louisville Slugger Invitational. The Toledo game was originally slated to be part of Long Beach State's ESPN+ package, but the time change means that broadcast will be canceled.
Fans who still want to follow the game can do so live at www.beachlivestats.com. Softball's next game on ESPN+ will be against Utah State on Sunday, March 10 beginning at Noon.
