
Long Beach State In Fifth Place After Day Two of Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate

Senior Isaac Rodea had a fantastic second round as he climbed 28 spots and is now 1-under par
HENDERSON, Nev. – No. 49 Long Beach State came out with another strong showing after shooting 4-under par in round two of the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate. The Beach currently sit in fifth place heading into the final day and are three strokes behind first place.
Steen Zeman, who is competing as an individual, leads all Beach players at 2-under par and is tied for 17th. His 142 over two rounds puts him just four strokes behind the leader.
Isaac Rodea had a great round, recording five birdies on his way to climbing 28 spots as he sits at 1-under. Rodea is just five strokes out of first place.
Jack Cantlay had a strong second round, shooting 4-under on the day and fired five birdies. Cantlay climbed 63 spots and is currently six strokes out of first place. Joining Cantlay with an even par is Clay Seeber.
Rounding out the rest of the Beach, Charlie Forster brought his tournament total to 1-over par, while Jaden Huggins also sits at 1-over par after climbing 23 spots with five birdies.
Arkansas State moved to the top of the leaderboard with a 10-under par showing. Little Rock and No. 45 VCU are tied for second at 9-under par.
