
Dirtbags Announce 2025 Schedule

First-year head coach TJ Bruce's club will have 26 home games
LONG BEACH, Calif.—Featuring opponents from seven conference and 26 home games, Long Beach State head baseball coach TJ Bruce announced the 2025 Dirtbags' schedule on Oct. 29.
The season begins with a three-game home series Feb. 14-16 against Northwestern. The opening midweek game is at LMU on Tuesday, Feb. 18, before Long Beach State travels to San Diego to participate in the Tony Gwynn Legacy Tournament. The Dirtbags will play two games at San Diego State against California Baptist (Feb. 21) and Utah (Feb. 24) and two games at UC San Diego versus Pepperdine (Feb. 22) and Seattle University (Feb. 23).
Long Beach State returns home Feb. 28-Mar. 2 for a second series against Michigan. The Dirtbags host Tulane on Monday, Mar. 3, to complete four games at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field. The Big West slate gets underway Mar. 7-9 at UC Irvine before LBSU comes home with a Tuesday game against Pepperdine (Mar. 11) and the first home Big West series against Cal Poly Mar. 14-16. The five-game homestand concludes Mar. 18 against LMU.
Long Beach State returns to La Jolla to face UC San Diego Mar. 21-23 before returning home to host UC Santa Barbara Mar. 28-30. The Dirtbags travel to Hawai'i on April 4-6 and UCLA on Apr. 8 before returning to Long Beach to host Cal State Bakersfield on April 11-13. The Dirtbags face Cal State Fullerton on April 17-19 in Fullerton. Long Beach State hosts USC Apr. 22 before welcoming CSUN to Long Beach Apr. 25-27. LBSU heads out to Arizona State for a two-game midweek series Apr. 29-30.
The final homestand begins May 2-4 against UC Davis and concludes May 6 versus UCLA. The regular season wraps up with seven road games at UC Riverside (May 9-11), California Baptist (May 13), and Oregon State (May 15-17). Cal State Fullerton will host the first Big West Baseball Championships since 1998 from May 21 to 25. The format is scheduled to feature the top five teams in league play advancing to the postseason.
Current season ticket holders should seek a renewal email if they still have a balance due on their tickets. Those looking to purchase season tickets can do so HERE, starting at $99 for general admission bench seats.
