The Beach will face No. 5 Hawai'i and No. 3 California.
LONG BEACH, Calif.—No. 7 Long Beach State's season continues with two more games this week, as they travel to Honolulu for contests against No. 5 Hawai'i and No. 3 California.
The Beach (13-5, 3-0) will take on Hawai'i (14-3, 2-0) for the second time this season on Thursday at 9 p.m. PST. The two teams faced off earlier this season at the Barbara Kalbus Invite where Hawai'i came out on top, 15-7. The two teams are both in form, having won four of their last five games.
On Sunday, Long Beach State will face off against No. 3 California (15-4) at 5 p.m. PST. The Beach will look to take down the Golden Bears for the first time since 2007. Junior Ruby Swadling leads the way for California with 31 goals this season.
Long Beach State's 13-5 record is their best start to a season since 2013, and a win against Hawai'i would be the first ever 4-0 start to conference play in program history. Rachael Kowalchick's 42 goals leads the Beach, with Elisa Portillo and Martina Cardona just behind with 36 and 32 goals, respectively.
Live stats for both games will be available at theFOSH.net and Thursday's contest against Hawai'i will be streamed on ESPN+.
