No. 7 Long Beach State Back on the Road for Triton Invite

Long Beach State will face Loyola Marymount on Friday
LONG BEACH, Calif.—For the second consecutive week, No. 7 Long Beach State will be on the road as they head to La Jolla to compete in the Triton Invite hosted by UC San Diego. Long Beach State enters the weekend with their highest ranking since 2006.
The tournament will consist of 14 teams, all of which are in different brackets. Long Beach State is in Bracket D alongside Loyola Marymount and UC Irvine.
The Beach (3-1) will open the tournament with a game against Loyola Marymount on Friday at 9:20 a.m. This is Long Beach State's first matchup against the Lions since 2021, an 8-6 victory for the Beach. The remaining schedule of their games will be determined by Friday's pool play.
Unless Long Beach State faces UC San Diego, there will not be any live stats or live streams, but you can follow along this weekend at longbeachstate.com or on social media @LBSUWaterPolo on Twitter and @lbsuwwp on Instagram.
