Charlie Forster And Long Beach State In The Top 10 After Two Rounds Of The Oregon State Invitational

Junior Charlie Forster is tied for eighth after his strong day one performance
CORVALLIS, Ore. – After two rounds at the Oregon State Invitational, the Beach are led by Charlie Forster who is currently tied for eighth place after shooting 1-under par on the day.
Forster finished his first round shooting 2-under par, firing five birdies. He is 1-under par heading into the final round tomorrow and four strokes behind the leader.
Host No. 51 Oregon State sits at the top of the leaderboard with 6-under par. No. 83 Arkansas State is in second place with 2-over par, while No. 56 Washington State is in third place after finishing the first two rounds at 7-over par.
Long Beach State finished the first round 5-over par with a 289, but a tough second round leaves the Beach at 15-over par heading into the final round tomorrow.
Senior Clay Seeber had a solid start to the first round finishing just 1-over par. He is 3-over after the second round and tied for 22nd for the tournament, while making an eagle on the 16th hole.
Rounding out the rest of the Beach players were Isaac Rodea, Jaden Huggins, and Jack Cantlay. Rodea finished the first two rounds at 6-over par, while Huggins is 8-over, and Cantlay is 9-over.
The Beach are set to tee off in the final round Tuesday, October 11 at 8:30 a.m. Beach fans can follow along at Golfstat.com.
