Women's Water Polo Announces 2024 Schedule

The Beach will have seven home games in addition to the season opening Beach Invite
LONG BEACH, Calif.— Long Beach State women's water polo has announced their 2024 schedule following a 2023 season that was the program's strongest in 10 years.
Long Beach State will begin the season by hosting the Beach Invite on January 20. The Beach will play two games during the showcase event, as they face off against Biola and Cal Baptist to kick off their season. Brown, Claremont, Concordia, CSUN, and La Verne will also take part in the event. Opening weekend will conclude with the annual alumni match on January 21.
On Friday, January 26, Long Beach State will travel to Los Angeles to face off with Loyola Marymount before participating in two tournaments in the following weeks. The Beach will take part in the Triton Invitational and the San Diego State Mini Tournament in consecutive weekends.
For the second consecutive season, Long Beach State will welcome the University of Toronto to Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center on February 20. The Beach will compete in the annual Barbara Kalbus Invite in Irvine and the Claremont Convergence in Pomona before opening Big West play at UC Santa Barbara on March 9.
On March 12, Long Beach State will host Harvard in the first matchup between the two schools since 2012. Another Big West matchup against Cal State Fullerton will follow on March 16 before the Beach travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan for the Michigan Invite on March 23.
Long Beach State will return home on March 27 to host Brown before finishing the season with five consecutive Big West contests against CSUN, UC Davis, Hawai'i, UC San Diego, and UC Irvine. The Big West Championships will take place from April 26-28 and will be hosted by UC Davis.
