Long Beach State Tied For Third After First Round At Badger Invitational

Senior Isaac Rodea leads the Beach with a 69 for 3-under par
MADISON, Wisc. – Long Beach State got off to a strong start as the Beach sit tied for third on the leaderboard in a competitive field. The Beach finished round one at 6-under par.
Florida Gulf Coast sits at the top of the leaderboard at 14-under par. The Beach trail second place, Middle Tennessee State, by just one stroke, and are tied for third with Nebraska.
Isaac Rodea leads all Beach players after shooting a 69 for 3-under par and is tied for sixth place. Rodea fired six birdies in round one and is just four strokes behind the leader.
Sophomore Jaden Huggins is just one stroke behind his Beach teammate, Rodea. Huggins finished his round with five birdies and is tied for 17th place after shooting 2-under.
Senior Clay Seeber continues his steady play into the tournament by finishing the round at 1-under par and is tied for 21st.
Junior Charlie Forster finished the round at even par, tied at 28th overall, while Steen Zeman sits at 5-over par.
Sophomore Alejandro de Castro Piera, who is competing as an individual, completed two rounds today, bringing his tournament total to 10-over par.
