Tyler Schafer Sits in the Top 10 Heading into the Final Round of the NCAA Stockton Regional

Schafer is shooting 5-under par and is in a tie for 10th place after two rounds of action at the NCAA Stockton Regional

STOCKTON, Calif. – After two rounds of action at the NCAA Stockton Regional at The Reserve at Spanos Park, Long Beach State senior Tyler Schafer sits in the Top 10 with a 5-under par showing.
Schafer shot a 70 in the second round as he tallied six birdies to bring his score to 139 for 5-under par. He is in a four-way tie for 10th place with Kieran Vincent of Liberty, Yuki Moriyama of Oregon, and Jackson Rivera of USC.
No. 4 Arizona State moved into first place in the team results with a 21-under par performance, while No. 16 Stanford is in second place with a 19-under par showing. No. 38 Oregon and No. 46 BYU are tied for third as both teams are shooting 16-under par.
The final round of the NCAA Stockton Regional will be played on Wednesday, May 18. The top five teams and the low individual not from that team will advance to the 2022 NCAA Championship which is scheduled to take place from May 27-June 1 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
