Three Beach Athletes Earn All-Big West Honors

Orsi Hertzka, Lena Kotanchyan and Marilia Mimides earn All-Big West honors.
Long Beach, Calif. — The Big West announced the 2022 All-Big West team on Wednesday and three members of the Long Beach State women's water polo team have earned honors.
Orsi Hertzka was named to the All-Big West First Team after a stellar season. For the second time in her career Hertzka scored 70 goals to pace the Beach this season. This was also the second time the junior earned first team honors.
Along with Hertzka, Lena Kotanchyan earned All-Big West second team honors. This marks the second time Kotanchyan has earned All-Big West honors. Kotanchyan scored 49 goals for the second-best mark on the team this season.
Marilia Mimides received votes and was an All-Big West honorable mention. Mimides scored 32 goals and dished out 25 assists.
