Long Beach State competes against Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara this weekend
LONG BEACH, CALIF. – Long Beach State's Women's Tennis team (8-6, 3-1 Big West) will go head-to-head against a pair of Big West Conference opponents this weekend. The Beach will first face Cal Poly on Friday, April 1 at noon at the Mustang Tennis Center, then will go up against UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, April 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Arnhold Tennis Center.
Coming back from a win against Dartmouth last week, the young Beach team is hoping to continue the momentum going into the conference matches.
"We are on the road against two very strong conference opponents this weekend," stated LBSU Head Coach Jenny Hilt-Costello. "We're looking forward to the challenge."
Going into this weekend, Cal Poly has a record of 10-4 (3-0 Big West) while UC Santa Barbara sits at 9-6 (1-0 Big West).
