Outdoor Sports Welcome Return To Routine Fan Protocols

Long Beach State is ready for fans to fill outdoor venues.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – As the Dirtbags, softball, beach volleyball and other outdoor spring sports start hosting their first home events, Long Beach State Athletics is reiterating that outdoor sports are subject to different protocols from indoor events and will be more familiar to fans attending events.
In particular, no capacity restrictions are in place for the 2022 spring season for outdoor venues, and proof of vaccine or negative test is not required to attend competitions at the following venues:
Additionally, there is no mask requirement, though masks are still recommended for those not vaccinated. Please stay home if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or if you are under isolation or quarantine orders.
Long Beach State's clear bag policy will also continue to be enforced. For more information on that, please visit http://www.longbeachstate.com/clearbag.
