Long Beach State Women’s Hoops Reveals 2021-22 Schedule

The Beach will host 16 games at the Walter Pyramid including a 10-game conference slate
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach State women's basketball team is ready to hit the hardwood with a competitive schedule featuring 16 home games beginning November 9. Head coach Jeff Cammon will enter his fifth season at the helm as he returns 10 letterwinners from a year ago, while adding five new talents to the roster.
Fans will get an opportunity to see the Beach in action on Tuesday, Nov. 9 in the season opener against Biola at the Walter Pyramid at 7 p.m.
Following the season opener, the Beach will promptly hit the road as they travel to Boise State on Saturday, Nov. 13, before returning home for a pair of contests against Seattle (Nov. 18) and Santa Clara (Nov. 21).
Long Beach State will travel across the country to Charlottesville, Va., for a pair of games at the UVA Cavalier Classic. The Beach will face Richmond on Friday, Nov. 26, before concluding the tournament against Rhode Island on Sunday, Nov. 28.
Continuing the road swing, LBSU will take on Air Force in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Sunday, Dec. 5, and at Oregon in Eugene on Saturday, Dec. 11, with a home contest against Idaho sandwiched between on Thursday, Dec. 9 at the Walter Pyramid.
The Beach will return to the Walter Pyramid as they host Portland State and USC on Dec. 17 and Dec. 21, respective, before kicking off Big West Conference action. Long Beach State will welcome Cal Poly to the Beach for the conference opener on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 7 p.m., before opening the New Year against CSU Bakersfield on Saturday, Jan. 1. LBSU concludes the homestand against Cal State Fullerton on Thursday, Jan. 4.
Long Beach State will hit the road again for three conference contests at Hawaii (Jan. 6), at UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 13), and at CSUN (Jan. 15), before hosting UC San Diego on Thursday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m.
A quick road trip to UC Irvine will take place on Saturday, Jan. 22, before LBSU welcomes UC Riverside and UC Davis to Long Beach on Jan. 27 and 29, respectively.
LSBU travels to CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 3), Cal Poly (Feb. 5), and Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 8), before returning home to host Hawaii (Feb. 12), CSUN (Feb. 17), and UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 19).
The final few weeks of the season will be spent mostly on the road with a game at UC San Diego on Thursday, Feb. 24 prior to the Beach's final regular season home game against UC Irvine on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. LBSU concludes the regular season at UC Davis and UC Riverside on March 3 and 5, respectively.
The 2022 Big West Conference Tournament will take place in Henderson, Nev., from March 8-12.
Season tickets are now available.
