
Long Beach State Finishes El Macero Classic with a 4-Under Par Showing

The Beach place sixth, while Hunter Epson and Clay Seeber finish in the top 10
MACERO, Calif. – The Long Beach State men's golf team concluded action at El Macero Classic on Monday afternoon with a 4-under par performance to place sixth in the tournament.
UC Davis and St. Mary's were the co-champions of the tournament as the two teams finished shooting 16-under par. San Francisco placed third with 14-under, while Fresno State (-13) and Santa Clara (-6) rounded out the top five.
Individually, the Beach had two top 10 finishers as Hunter Epson finished in a tie for eighth with 5-under par. Epson finished the tournament shooting 73-68-70 for 211 over three days.
Clay Seeber placed in a tie for 10th as he fired a 68 in the final round to finish with a 4-under par.
Tyler Schafer (+2) and Isaac Rodea (+3) came in tied for 27th and 32nd, respectively, in the tournament.
Long Beach State will conclude the regular season at the Thunderbird Collegiate on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17 in Phoenix, Ariz. The tournament will be hosted by Arizona State. Fans will be able to follow the results each day via GolfStat.com.
