Long Beach State Men’s Golf Set to Tee off at The Goodwin

The Beach will take part in the three-day competition beginning Thursday at Stanford
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach State men's golf team will be back in action for the first time in two weeks at The Goodwin, hosted by Stanford, beginning Thursday, March 25. The three-day event which will take place at the Stanford Golf Course, will conclude on Saturday, March 27.
The Beach will be a part of a competitive 27-team field which features Arizona State, TCU, Nevada, Denver, Colorado, San Diego, Georgia Tech, Washington State, California Baptist, USC, SMU, Stanford, FAU, Cal, Minnesota, BYU, St. Mary's, Pacific, Santa Clara, Northwestern, Washington, Oregon, San Jose, UCLA, Pepperdine, and fellow Big West schools in UC Davis and Cal Poly.
Long Beach State is coming off of a strong showing at the Bandon Dunes Championships where the Beach finished fifth and just two strokes out of second place with a 7-over par. LBSU was led by senior Hunter Epson who concluded the invitational shooting 69-70-74 for a 13th place finish.
The Goodwin is closed to spectators, however, Beach fans can follow all the action via GolfStat.com.
