Jasmine Hardy Earns Big West Player of the Week Honors

Hardy claims the weekly honors after recording back-to-back double-doubles
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Jasmine hardy collected a pair of double-doubles for Long Beach State last week as she helped the Beach defeat UC Santa Barbara on Friday and Saturday en route to being named Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
On Friday, Hardy set a new career-high in points (19) and rebounds (14), while also adding three steals and a block in 37 minutes of action. She came back the following night and registered 15 points and 10 rebounds, while contributing a blocks and an assist in 33 minutes of play.
Hardy turned in a pair of 50-percent shooting performances from the field as she went 11-for-22. Additionally, she connected on 11-of-13 free throws.
The Santa Clarita, Calif., native's efforts led Long Beach State to its 10th-straight win, all of which have come against Big West Conference opponents. The Beach is now a league-best 11-1 on the year.
Hardy and the Beach will be back in action Friday, Feb. 12 at 4 p.m., when they host UC Davis at the Walter Pyramid. The Beach and the Aggies will face off again on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN3.
