Men’s Golf Set to Compete at Sacramento State Intercollegiate

Long Beach State will begin action on Monday, March 1
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Coming off of a solid showing at The Prestige two weeks ago, the Long Beach State men's golf team is preparing to take part in the ninth annual Sacramento State Intercollegiate on Monday, March 1 and Tuesday, March 2.
The tournament, hosted by Sac State, will be held at the Valley Hi Country Club in Elk Grove, Calif. The 14-team event pits the Beach up against some talented competition including fellow Big West Conference opponents in back-to-back tournament champ Cal State Fullerton, CSUN, UC Davis, UC Irvine, and UC Santa Barbara.
Also competing in the Sacramento State Invitational are Cal Baptist, Dixie State, Loyola Marymount, Oakland, Pacific, Santa Clara, Weber State, as well as the host Hornets.
The Beach will send the lineup of Hunter Epson, Clay Seeber, Isaac Rodea, Tyler Schafer, and Hunter Reed into action.
In their last outing, the Beach were led by Epson who fired a 69 in the final round of The Prestige to help Long Beach State finish in the top 10 in the competitive tournament.
