Long Beach State Men’s Golf Set for Wolf Pack Classic

The Beach will compete at the Wolf Pack Classic on Monday, Oct. 11 and Tuesday, Oct. 12
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach State men's golf team will continue the fall season at the Wolf Pack Classic, hosted by Nevada, on Monday, Oct. 11 and Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the Hidden Valley Country Club in Reno, Nev.
The Beach will be one of 14 schools competing including Nevada's A and B squads, Air Force, BYU, Fresno State, LMU, New Mexico, Saint Mary's, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose State, UC Davis, UCLA, and UNLV.
The first two rounds of the tournament will be played on Monday with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m., followed by the final round on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
The Beach will send their lineup of senior Jack Ainscough, freshman Ian Gilligan, sophomore Isaac Rodea, freshman Steven Deutsch, and sophomore Clay Seeber to the green.
The individual winner of the tournament will receive an exemption into the PGA Tour Barracuda Championship in July 2022.
Long Beach State is coming off of a top 5 finish at the Paintbrush Invitational last week in which the Beach were led by Ainscough and Gilligan who finished in the top 25.
