Beach Men’s Golf Set for Lamkin San Diego Classic

Long Beach State will compete on Monday, March 9 and Tuesday, March 10
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach State men's golf team is gearing up for action in the Lamkin San Diego Classic in Chula Vista, Calif. The event will begin on Monday, March 9 at the San Diego Country Club and will conclude on Tuesday, March 10.
The first day of the tournament will feature the first two rounds beginning at 8:15 a.m. with a shotgun start. The Beach are one of 18 teams participating in the Lamkin San Diego Classic which will feature such teams as BYU, Colorado, Arizona, Cal, North Carolina, Tennessee, San Diego, and San Diego State.
Long Beach State will send the lineup of Hunter Epson, Trip Morris, Clay Seeber, Owen Avrit, and Tyler Schafer onto the green.
Since starting up action in the spring, the Beach have posted an eighth place finish at the Arizona Intercollegiate and a 12th-place showing at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate.
