Long Beach State Men’s Golf in 13th Place After Second Round

Hunter Epson is LBSU’s top finisher with one-over par after 36-holes

LIHUE, Kauai – After two rounds of action at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate, Long Beach State has dropped to 13th place with a 590 for 14-over par. Leading the way at the Wailua Golf Course is Texas A&M which is shooting 7-under par with a 569.
The Beach shot a 297 on the second day of action after firing a 293 in the first round on Thursday.
Leading the way for Long Beach State is senior Hunter Epson who is shooting 1-over par after firing a 74 in the second round. He is tied for 27th place.
Both Trip Morris and Clay Seeber are tied for 37th with a 147 for 3-over par. Morris moved up one spot after posting a second round score of 73, while Seeber struggled on day two dropping from 10th place.
Isaac Rodea also improved on the second day as the freshman went from a 77 in the first round to a 74 in the second moving up seven places with a 7-over par.
Long Beach State will conclude the John A. Burns Intercollegiate on Saturday, Feb. 22.
