Tygret's 2-under round of 70 on Tuesday was buoyed by a strong back nine that featured four birdies. She immediately birdied the 11th hole, then got back to even par with a birdie on 13. Her back-to-back birdies on 16 and 17 closed out a terrific round, leaving her two shots back of the tournament leader, Brianna Steger of CSUN, with 18 holes to play.
