Men’s Golf Heads to Oregon for Duck Invitational This Week

Long Beach State is heading north for the week to participate in the two-day Duck Invitational at Emerald Valley Golf Club in Cresswell, Ore. The action starts with 36 holes on Monday followed by the final round on Tuesday morning.
CRESSWELL, Ore. – Beach Men's Golf is in the Pacific Northwest this week, taking part in the Duck Invitational hosted by the University of Oregon on Monday and Tuesday. The action will take place at the Par-72 Emerald Valley Golf Club, beginning with LBSU's final 36-hole day of the season on Monday. The final round will be played on Tuesday with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start both days.
In addition to the host Ducks, Long Beach State will also be competing against teams from Boise State, Denver, Hawai'i, LMU, Nevada, Oral Roberts, Oregon State, Pacific, San Diego State, San Francisco, San Jose State, Seattle, Washington State, and Wyoming.
The Beach lineup will feature junior Hunter Epson at the top of the lineup, followed by seniors Joe Fryer and Patrick Pockels, freshman Tyler Schafer and freshman Caesar Cheng.
This is LBSU's final scheduled tournament outside the state of California this season, and the penultimate event before the Big West Championships Apr. 29-May 1. Live scoring for the Duck Invitational can be followed at GolfStat.com.
