Long Beach State Beach Volleyball Releases 2020 Schedule

The Beach kick off the 2020 season on Wednesday, February 26.
LONG BEACH, Calif.—The Long Beach State Beach Volleyball team has announced the 2020 schedule, which once again features matches against the nation's top programs.
Long Beach State will host 14 home contests at the LBSU sand courts including top-ranked Pepperdine and UCLA along with the Mizuno Beach Challenge featuring Big West foes in Huntington Beach, Calif. March 28-29.
The Beach opens up their season with a home tri-dual on Wednesday, February 26 where they will take on Vanguard at 10 a.m. and Concordia at 2 p.m. The tri-dual is followed by a home game against Santa Clara on Saturday, February 29 at 9 a.m.
On March 7 the Beach will head to Zuma Beach where they will take on Pepperdine, Stetson and South Carolina followed by a tri-dual in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 8 against Loyola Marymount and Stetson.
The Beach will return to their home sand for a nine-game home stand and the third tri-dual of the season against University of Utah and Big West foe CSUN on Tuesday, March 10.
The following week, the Beach will take on Georgia State and Loyola Marymount on March 18 before hosting Cal State LA and Missouri State on March 20. The next day, the Beach will compete in three games against Colorado Mesa, Oregon and Cal State LA.
Long Beach State will host the two-day Mizuno Beach Challenge in Huntington Beach, Calif. The Beach will open play on March 28 against CSUN for a 9 a.m. matchup before taking on Cal Poly at 10 a.m. and UC Davis at Noon. Long Beach will face Hawaii at 10 a.m. and close out the tournament against Sacramento State at noon on March 29.
The following week, the Beach will head to Arizona for two tri-duals against Arizona State and Grand Canyon on April 1 in Phoenix, Ariz. The Beach's Arizona road trip continues against Ottawa and Arizona on April 2 in Tucson, Ariz.
The Beach then returns to Long Beach, Calif. to take on the defending national champions UCLA on April 7 and for senior day against Pepperdine on April 9.
Long Beach State will play its last regular season matches on the road in a tri-dual hosted by USC on April 14 against Cal Poly and the Trojans.
The Big West Conference Tournament will take place April 17-19 in Davis, Calif.
