Tennis Finishes Fall Season At CSUN Fall Invitational

All eight players are scheduled to compete in both singles and doubles.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State closes out the fall season at the CSUN Fall Invitational, beginning on Friday, November 9 as all eight student-athletes for the Beach are scheduled to compete.
The CSUN Fall Invitational will feature seven flights of both single and doubles, and all participants are initially scheduled to compete in all three days of action.
In singles, Long Beach State will have two competitors in each of the top four flights. Junior Natalia Munoz will play Tamara Culibrk of San Jose State, while Lalita Devarakonda faces Polina Malykh of BYU in the opening round of play in the top flight.
Sophomore Sadaf Sadeghvaziri and freshman Emma Bardet will complete in flight two, while a pair of first-year players in Zara Lennon and Dominique Myer will feature in flight three. Rounding out the LBSU contingent in singles, Wiktoria Rutkowska and Carlota Casasampere will each play a single match on Friday.
With two singles matches scheduled for each participant on Saturday, Friday will be a busy day in doubles with two matches for each pair scheduled to start the day.
For Long Beach State, Bardet/Devarakonda will represent the Beach in the top flight, as they open with Abramyan/Malykh of BYU at 9 a.m. Munoz/Lennon will face Elpusan/Khattab of UC Riverside in the second flight.
Meyer/Rutkowska will face Ramos Vinolas/Popescu of Pacific in flight three and Casasampere/Sadeghvaziri play Gonzales/Ugarkovic of Sac State in flight four.
