Long Beach, Calif. -

No. 6 Long Beach State Beach Volleyball is back in action today, hitting the road for a dual match at No. 4 UCLA scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. The match will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.
The Beach will face UCLA for the third time this season, having fallen in the two previous meetings. Long Beach State lost to the Bruins in the opening weekend of the season in a very tight match, falling 3-2 with wins for the Beach coming at No. 2 and No. 5, while LBSU lost in a tight three-set match at No. 4. Zoi Konstantopoulou and Mykah Wilson ultimately lost 21-14, 12-21, 17-15 to Reily Buchler and Zana Muno, and the Bruins took the first meeting.
Meeting again in tournament play last week, the Bruins won all five matches at the USAV Collegiate Challenge, and are now 14-4 on the year while Long Beach State is 9-8. All eight losses for Long Beach State have come to teams ranked in the Top 5 however.
Live coverage of the match will be on Pac-12 Networks, as the Beach will try to grab a critical win in the run-in to the Big West Tournament and NCAA Tournament selection.
