Taylor Gregory Garners Volleyball Magazine All-America Accolades

LONG BEACH - Long Beach State junior Taylor Gregory has been selected to the 2015 Volleyball Magazine All-America Third Team.
Gregory, a 6-foot-7 middle blocker, was tops in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and second in the nation with 1.51 blocks per set. He finished with a career-high 13 solo blocks and 127 block assists. Gregory added 124 kills (1.33/set) and 14 aces.
The Saugus, Calif., native totaled six or more blocks on 13 occasions, reaching double figures twice. He had a monster performance in a 3-1 win at UC Santa Barbara with a career-high and LBSU rally scoring era record 15 blocks (1 solo, 14 assists). Gregory also notched 10 blocks vs. Pepperdine. He currently ranks ninth in school history with 401 career blocks.
Gregory also received All-MPSF honorable mention recognition earlier this year.
