No. 5 Sand Volleyball Hosts No. 2 Pepperdine Thursday

Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State continues its homestand Thursday, hosting No. 2 Pepperdine at 1 p.m. on the LBSU Sand Courts.
Both teams enter Thursday's match with one loss - Long Beach State took a defeat to No. 4 Florida State last Tuesday, while Pepperdine lost on the road at Hawai'i 3-2 back on March 6.
The 49ers' second flight team of Anete Brinke and Tyler Jackson enters Thursday's competition unbeaten on the year. The duo is 4-0 in 2015, and continues to push forward Jackson's school record of 67 individual wins, as well as her school record .827 winning percentage.
Brinke/Jackson will likely face Lara Dykstra and Becca Strehlow for the Waves, while the top flight will feature Kelley Larsen and Kellie Woolever against Delainey Aigner-Swesey and Chelsea Cabrajac of Long Beach State.
The Pepperdine dual is the only match of the week for the 49ers, who will travel to No. 6 Loyola Marymount next Wednesday before hosting Saint Mary's on Friday, March 27.
