Rozenberg, Gerard Complete Undefeated Weekend At UNLV Invitational

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Karolina Rozenberg and Julie Gerard continued their winning ways on Sunday as they both claimed the titles for their respective flights in the UNLV Invitational. Ebba Unden also won her consolation match.
Gerard took the Flight 2 win in Las Vegas with a 6-0, 4-6, 6-5 victory over UNLV's Paola Artiga. Rozenberg took the title in Flight 3 with a three-set win of own 5-6, 6-0, 6-4 over UNLV's Mercedes Lopez. The duo teamed up again in an added doubles match and completed an undefeated weekend with another win.
Ebba Unden won the Flight 1 consolation draw with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Northern Arizona's Emilia Box. Both Hayley Thompson and Maeva Razakasoawon their added singles matches in the final day of competition.
Next up for Beach Tennis is an invitational fall tournament in Los Angeles. The Beach hosts its own fall tournament Oct. 3-5.
