Sunday's Games Cancelled In Louisville Slugger Invitational

Lakewood, Calif. - Despite the best efforts of Long Beach State's and Lakewood's grounds crews, all games Sunday at the Louisivlle Slugger Invitational have been canceled, including Long Beach State's opener with Illinois.

Long Beach State will finish the weekend with a record of 11-6 after picking up a pair of wins on Thursday. The 49ers are scheduled to compete in the Judi Garman Classic at Cal State Fullerton next weekend.
